About Shelby
I am a recent graduate from Fort Lewis College where I graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Exercise Physiology and a minor in Nutrition. I have always been passionate about sports medicine, as my grandfather was an orthopedic surgeon and helped develop a lot of what we know about biomechanics in the United States. I currently work at a physical therapy clinic as a technician where I apply my knowledge daily. I have hopes of continuing my education and career with Physical Therapy School.

As a tutor, I try to make the information as digestible as possible. I like to keep terminology and concepts simple to help grasp basic ideas, and working on introducing details from there. I'm a big fan of mnemonics and visuals to help learn and retain information. I am also a firm believer in that there are no "dumb" or "silly"questions out there. Lessons can be beneficial for high school and college level courses.
