About Sarah
I’m a 3rd year Medicine student in UCD, offering HPAT grinds for LC students who want to boost their score and feel as confident as possible going into the exam.
I scored in the 99th percentile in HPAT 2024 with a score of 202 points, and have two years experience giving grinds.
Different approaches work best for different students, and I tailor my classes to suit each individual, based on which sections or types of questions they feel they need the most work on. My hope is that I can help students approach this tough exam in the best way possible, with strategies for each section that they feel confident in.
I achieved H1s in Maths, English, Irish, Biology, Chemistry, French and History, and offer LC Biology and Chemistry grinds, as well as JC Maths and Science.

The HPAT is unlike any exam you will have seen before in secondary school, with much more focus on time management and strategies rather than learning off information. I know from experience how intimidating it can be! What helped me most was talking through questions and getting advice from students who had been through it – so that’s exactly what I’m offering!
I have access to all of the ACER past questions, as well as tips and notes made for all three sections.

Sarah taught my son a few online classes before his hpat in February and he was so much more confident going into the exam. She also gave my daughter junior cert maths grinds and could not have been more patient with her

Details
I charge 35 euro per hour for online classes, or in person classes in my home (Rathmines) or on UCD campus. I will travel to your home or to other locations, but the price per hour will be higher so that I can pay for petrol, parking, etc. I am willing to discuss lower rates for multiple classes per week.
