We often try and do our best to keep up with our classes and in a perfect world we would understand everything as we cover the subject and would feel ready and prepared for exam time. Unfortunately, the reality of studying is often quite different from this and it is common to have parts of the course that you find harder to grasp and real life and other assignments can get in the way of your attempts to try and understand it in your own time.
Sometimes we need to run through aspects of the course and getting grinds is one way of doing this. The advantage of getting grinds instead of trying to push through by yourself is that as you inevitably come across something that you find difficult to explain or understand there is someone right there who can help talk you through it. If you don’t understand something properly, you can’t learn or properly explain it in a paper.
Even if you feel on top of your work, doing an intense revision of parts of your course will simply help you as you can’t learn too much and it will only help your chances in getting the best result that you possibly can. Why only work to be good enough? If you are studying and hoping to enter the world of medicine you should get the best result that you possibly can.
As we know, medicine is a very broad term but we assure you that there is little to no chance that you will find it difficult to find a tutor who is providing the grinds that you need. All types of aspects of medicine are taught, biochemistry, physiology, cardiovascular diseases, nursing and many many others are taught.
It doesn’t matter if you are in your first year of university or last, you will be able to find the help that you need. Many of our tutors also happily provide lessons for Leaving Cert Biology. Our tutors have in-depth profiles but if you are still unsure if they cover your particular course subject or not, please feel free to reach out to them and ask.
Why using Superprof is so useful for so many people around the country is that you can clearly and quickly see what tutors are nearby to you and what lessons they are providing. Being able to see the selection of tutors that all teach the same subject will allow you to more easily find the right tutor for you.
Since our tutors are all found on our platform you are able to get a decent idea of their experiences, teaching content and even reviews from previous students so that in a glance you can get a good idea if they are the right tutor for you or not, resulting in you wasting as little time as possible.
Quite a few of our tutors are fully fledged doctors who have professional experience in the industry and who have also gone through the examinations and hurdles that you need to pass before becoming a professional in the medicine world (such as the HPAT or GAMSAT).
You will be able to find a varied collection of professionals from whom you can gain some insight into what it could possibly be like working in a similar role. You will be able to hear their experiences and thoughts on their profession and potentially receive some tips on how you can enter the profession if that is your desire.
Others are current medical students who have a passion and gift for the subject and who wish to help others with the subject that they love. You will be able to do your lessons either in person or online as many of our tutors offer both as a possibility.
