About Samuel

I studied Music at Leeds College of Music graduating with a BA hons.
I teach and play both Jazz and Classical and can help with any level, beginner all the way through post grade 8 both in the Classical and Jazz areas.
I am also a composer and can help with counterpoint, voice leading, theory and all related disciplines

About the lesson

A strict methodology can sometimes be too much of a fixed way of doing things and it seems from my experience that individually tailored learning is best. Of course there are plenty of useful guidelines and methods but many roads lead to Rome as the saying goes. That said I am more than happy with a structured, goal orientated and exam centered approach and this is often the best way to see clear progress and keep the student motivated and encouraged.

I can do 30 minute lessons for £15
If travelling more than 10 miles I will charge £35 for the hour and £20 for the half hour
Grade 8 and beyond, advanced composition and improvisation £40p/hr
Minimum of 24 hours notice cancellation please
