About Aisling
Education is my passion! I have a PhD in biology, a Bachelor of Education in high school biology, a HBSc in zoology and physical geography, and a MSc in physical geography. I have over 15 years of teaching experience, and have been teaching university-level biology courses for the last 10+ years at a community college. I have taught nursing students Anatomy & Physiology, Pathophysiology, and Pharmacology. I also teach high school level biology to adults, and first year biology, second year cell biology, and genetics. I am up to date in teaching technologies (particularly for online), and different approaches that work for student learning and success. Most importantly, I care about my students, I listen, and genuinely want them to succeed.

Teaching students how to learn has always been my priority. With me as your tutor, we will discover what your goals are, where you are struggling, and how to succeed. I will provide you with tools that will help you study and learn, what to focus on, and will also explain difficult concepts in ways that make sense. Breaking down complex ideas into easily-understandable parts is my specialty.
