About Shikha
I'm Shikha, a Biology and Science teacher based in Sagar with an M.Sc. in Zoology and currently pursuing my B.Ed. to further strengthen my teaching skills. Over the past four years, I've taught Biology and Science to school students at coaching institutes in Patna, and I continue to tutor students across different grades, both in person and online. Teaching, for me, isn't just about finishing a syllabus, it's about making sure a student actually understands a concept and feels confident enough to ask questions freely. I bring a lot of patience to my classes, along with a structured, exam-focused approach that has helped my past students improve their understanding and their results. I look forward to helping your child build a genuine interest in Biology and Science, not just prepare for exams.

My classes focus on making Biology and Science easy to understand rather than something to memorize under pressure. I break down each topic into simple diagrams, flowcharts, and short mnemonics, so concepts stick without needing repeated cramming. A typical class starts with a quick recap of the previous topic, moves into the new concept explained step by step, and ends with a few practice questions to check understanding on the spot. I keep the pace flexible and encourage questions throughout, since I believe no doubt is too small to clear. My classes are best suited for school students from Class 1 to 10, whether preparing for regular exams, board exams, or just trying to build a stronger foundation in Biology and Science.

Details
₹190 per hour for one-on-one Biology/Science tuition, online or in person. For students taking 2 classes a week, this works out to around ₹1,520 per month. I keep pricing simple and transparent, with no extra charges for study material, as I prepare all notes, diagrams, and practice questions myself. Rates for 3–4 classes a week, or for sibling/group batches, can be discussed and adjusted accordingly.
