About Janine
I am Learning Advisor with a Ph.D. in Science. I have been tutoring and advising both school and university level students for over 20 years. I am also the winner of 2 Australian Awards for University Teaching.
As a Biology Tutor, I can help with:
-Year 11 and Year 12 Biology
-University level Biology
-General Science in Years 1-10
- Science engagement at kindergarten and pre-school levels
As a Learning Advisor, I can also help with:

I currently have many openings for online sessions via Zoom - I have over 8 years of experience in providing online support and the Zoom software enables effective tutorials via video chat, screen share and digital whiteboard. Online sessions are charged at a discounted cost of $90/hour. There are a few openings for in-person sessions around Brisbane and some suburbs in Logan, and these sessions are charged at $110/hour. Travel to other areas can sometimes be arranged but would include an additional fee.

I am passionate about education and I love to help students reach their potential. I know that sometimes students need extra support in order to improve their grades, confidence and overall learning experience. I can assist students of all ages with their study skills and/or I can also provide more specialised biology tuition. I always ensure that I embed effective study and learning strategies into any science tutorials.
During an initial consultation, I will determine your/your child's current learning and studying needs. A bespoke Success Plan is then developed, usually consisting of a number of tailored Learning Advising sessions.
