About Lydia
I’m a Biology tutor with over 9 years of experience guiding students through the exciting world of life science. I hold a BSc in Ecology and Conservation, which gave me a deeper understanding of ecosystems and biodiversity. I particularly enjoy working with middle school students, because this is when curiosity about plants, animals, and nature truly begins to develop. Their enthusiasm is contagious.
In my classes, I focus on helping students observe the natural world carefully. We might examine different types of leaves, talk about animal habitats, or watch insects at work. Nature always provides great examples. I also enjoy leading simple experiments like planting seeds and observing germination over time.
Stories play a big role in my teaching style. I love sharing fascinating facts about biodiversity and the clever survival strategies used by plants and animals. These stories make science more memorable and engaging.
My goal is to inspire curiosity and encourage young learners to think like scientists. I want students to feel confident asking questions and exploring ideas. The world around us is full of life. Let’s discover its wonders together!

The teaching approach focuses on helping students see Biology as an evolving scientific story. Topics such as evolutionary biology, natural selection, speciation, and phylogenetics are explored to explain how life diversifies and adapts.
