About Saanvi
I am a biology tutor with over 4 years of experience and hold an MSc in Microbiology. My teaching goes beyond traditional biology by integrating bioinformatics and computational biology into everyday practice. I specialise in helping students and researchers analyse large genomic and proteomic datasets with confidence. I teach key bioinformatics concepts such as sequence alignment algorithms and phylogenetic tree construction. My teaching approach in biology is focused on helping students fully understand the subject and excel in their exams. I cover important topics like cell biology, genetics, molecular biology, ecology, and evolution, all of which are key for AP Biology test preparation. I also emphasise experimental design and data interpretation to help students think like scientists. Together, we work on free-response question strategies to improve writing clear and accurate answers. I believe practice is the key to success. That’s why I use targeted drills and practice tests to strengthen weak areas and build confidence. My lessons are interactive and tailored to each student’s needs. We break down complex ideas into simple parts, making it easier to learn. I am passionate about clean energy and materials science, which adds real-world examples to our lessons. This makes learning more interesting and relevant. My goal is to prepare students not just for tests but for a deeper understanding of biology. I support every student to improve step-by-step, ensuring they feel ready and confident on exam day. With focused practice and clear guidance, we aim for high scores and lasting success.
