About Harold
I have been active in chemistry research for many years and have found that teaching, mentoring and tutoring are the most rewarding aspects. I have excellent feedback from students and am able to communicate the difficult areas in a clear and effective way that ensures understanding as well as how to approach exam questions. From primary school, explaining basics of energy to A level and beyond, explaining kinetics or thermodynamics, I pitch my teaching to the appropriate level and ensure the lessons are enjoyable as well as productive.

Adaptable to individual needs, I have many years supervising students, tutoring and running demonstrations for schools. Qualified to PhD level. Typical lesson will be for 1 hour and cover basics of a topic, worked through questions and sample exam questions for the student to answer. If you must get that A* or need to ensure a passing grade I can help you achieve it.
