As a highly qualified economist with a BSc, MSc, and PhD in Economics, my approach to tutoring is centred on clarity, engagement, and application. I believe that Economics is best understood when it’s connected to real-world issues, so I strive to simplify complex theories using practical examples, case studies, and interactive discussions. I adopt a student-centred teaching style that blends conceptual explanation, visual aids (charts, graphs, models), and problem-solving exercises. I use Socratic questioning to promote critical thinking and encourage active participation. Lessons are tailored to suit individual learning styles—whether visual, auditory, or kinaesthetic—and I provide personalised feedback to track progress and strengthen weak areas. A standard lesson typically lasts 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the learner's needs and attention span. I also offer shorter sessions for topic reviews or longer deep-dive workshops for exam preparation, research supervision, or advanced topics. I hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD in Economics from recognised institutions and have extensive experience teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students. My background includes classroom lecturing, one-on-one tutoring, and research supervision. I’ve also worked with adult learners, international students, and professionals preparing for exams like GRE, GMAT, or professional certifications in economics or finance.
