As a licensed elementary education teacher with nearly nine years of teaching experience, my approach as a tutor is centered on making mathematics meaningful, engaging, and easy to understand for every learner. I strongly believe that students learn best when lessons are connected to real-life situations and when they feel confident enough to ask questions and explore different ways of solving problems.
My teaching method combines step-by-step instruction, guided practice, and interactive game-based learning strategies. I use clear explanations, visual representations, manipulatives, and real-world examples to help learners grasp mathematical concepts. I also integrate questioning techniques that encourage critical thinking and problem-solving rather than simple memorization. A typical lesson usually begins with a short review of previously learned skills to strengthen retention and identify any misconceptions.
