About Laura
With 10 years of ESL teaching experience, I am dedicated to helping students succeed in English. I teach high school and college students and focus on making learning clear and effective. I have worked with around 150 to 200 students, which has helped me become a flexible and patient teacher.
A major milestone in my career has been helping students overcome their fear of speaking English and communicate with confidence. Many of my students have improved their exam results and real-life communication skills.
My classes include simple explanations, practical exercises, and interactive activities. I create a positive and comfortable learning environment where students feel motivated. Teaching English is my passion, and I aim to make a lasting impact on every student’s journey.

I follow a student-centered ESL teaching methodology that blends real-world application with interactive learning. Real-life examples and case studies are central to my lessons, helping students see the relevance of English in conversations, workplace communication, and academic contexts.
Motivation is key to my teaching, so I create a positive and encouraging environment where students feel confident to participate. I incorporate problem-solving exercises like role-plays, debates, discussions, and real-life scenarios to improve fluency and critical thinking.
I teach with integrity by offering honest feedback and clear guidance. Flexibility is also essential, as I adapt lesson plans to each student’s learning style, level, and goals. Alongside ESL, I teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and writing to ensure complete language development.
