About Maria
Salaam! I'm Maria, a passionate educator who believes learning should be meaningful, enjoyable, and inspiring. For over 6 years, I've been teaching students through personalised one-to-one lessons, helping them grow in confidence and develop a genuine love for learning.
Teaching the Qur'an is especially close to my heart because I believe it is not only about correct recitation but also about understanding, reflection, and building strong Islamic values. My aim is to create a calm, encouraging environment where every student feels comfortable learning at their own pace.
Whether you're taking your first steps in reading the Qur'an or looking to strengthen your Tajweed, memorisation, or understanding, I'd be honoured to support you on your journey.

Every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to match their age, ability, and learning goals. My classes are patient, interactive, and encouraging, helping students develop confidence while building a strong connection with the Qur'an.
I teach Qaida, Qur'an reading with Tajweed, memorisation (Hifz), translation, basic Tafseer, daily duas, and essential Islamic values. Lessons typically last 45–60 minutes and include revision, practice, and positive feedback to ensure steady progress.
With over 6 years of one-to-one teaching experience, I have helped young learners build strong foundations through structured, engaging lessons. I welcome children, beginners, homeschool students, and adults who want to improve their Qur'an recitation and understanding in a supportive learning environment.
