About Gabriel
As a former student that was on track to failing several subjects, I understand the overwhelming pressure of exams, particularly GCSEs. It was only when I got a tutor for English when I really began to lift my grades, not only for English but across all my subjects. Thanks to this, I am now able to study some of the hardest A Levels: Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Economics.
As a personal tutor, alongside teaching content, my other goal is to inspire confidence in others, just the same way that I was. My aim is to provide the same supportive and structured guidance to my students, helping them feel confident, capable and prepared going into their exams.

For every student I tailor all lessons to target each student's strengths and areas for improvement from the beginning. Before teaching, I make sure to really get to know students so that I develop a proper understanding of their position and learning style.
My method for teaching focuses on asking the right questions to students so that I'm guiding them to the answer, increasing their confidence, rather than telling, which is particularly important for heavy-load subjects like economics. In my years of teaching, I have found that this has a much higher retention rate, compared to just memorising the content.
Currently I'm studying Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Economics at A-Level, and I tutor at the GCSE level. I have 13 GCSEs, all grades A and above.
The average lesson length would be 1 hour long and online.
