About Camilla
I am a dedicated and experienced Grade 1–6 Math teacher with a strong focus on helping students build solid mathematical foundations and long-term confidence. I believe every student is capable of success in math when concepts are taught in a clear, structured, and supportive way.
Over the years, I have worked with a wide range of learners, including students who struggle with basic skills as well as those who want to strengthen and advance their understanding. This experience has helped me develop a patient and adaptable teaching style that meets each student where they are.
My approach is centered on breaking down complex ideas into simple, manageable steps. I encourage active participation, guided practice, and consistent reinforcement to ensure that students truly understand what they are learning—not just memorize procedures. I also place strong emphasis on identifying and addressing learning gaps so students can move forward with confidence.
I strive to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing at their own pace. My goal is not only to improve academic performance, but also to build self-confidence and a positive attitude toward mathematics.
Whether a student needs extra support or wants to strengthen their skills, I am committed to helping them reach their full potential in a structured and encouraging way.
