About Barbara

I have a passion for teaching and fostering emotional growth in people. I teach with a non-stressful method. Learning is a beautiful thing and I teach from a servant type of teaching. Fear-based learning does not foster retention.

About the lesson

Chief Visionary Officer of Masterpiece Compass Institute: masterpiecematters.com.Published author of Under. His Wings: Becoming God"s Redeemed Masterpiece (available on amazon). My approach begins with use of evaluations to find out how my students learn and tailor tutoring thusly.
In addition , I offer tailored packages that can include life coaching and counselling ( All from a Biblical perspective)
I find the best methodology to foster successful learning and retention of knowledge is to teach the way a student learns.

I have personally known Barbara for almost 15 years .We started out as acquaintances through college. I have known her to help numerous students there with their studies ( on top of her personal courseload). She has a passion for helping others learn and grow. She has a unique style of teaching. She will figure out how someone learns and connect the learning to fit their style.

Barbara did such a great job tutoring my daughter! Within a few months, my daughter’s reading level improved exponentially. Very patient, encouraging and prepared for lessons. My daughter looked forward to her learning time so that should say a lot. Parents can certainly depend on Barbara - for she will certainly have your child’s best interests at heart.
Thank you Barbara.
