About Jack
Hi I'm Jack and I am currently studying History and Politics at Cambridge University with a focus on 20th century international relations and enlightenment political thought. Before this I previously completed A levels in History, Politics and Geography achieving A*s in all three subjects.
I have years of experience working with students to develop their understanding of topics and essay craft, having frequently brought students working at a C/D level up to A/A*. Whilst mainly tutoring History, Politics and Geography I can also provide tutoring in Oxbridge admissions.
I like to think I am an approachable and friendly face who can help put students at ease in tutorial sessions and build up a solid working rapport with both students and parents. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you seek further information.

I can provide specialised sessions with students developing both knowledge and essay skills. I believe it's important to take a holistic approach to tutoring, curating sessions specific to students strengths and weaknesses. I place content into exam based scenarios through discussion, debate, and essay plans specifically focusing on improving exam technique. I believe that sessions should be engaging and genuinely interest the student to ensure the most effective use of time. Having recently been a student myself I can provide up to date advice, first hand tips, alongside essay plans and resources based on current specifications.
