About Erica
I’m a third-year medical student at Imperial College London with a strong interest in neuroscience and genetics, which has deepened my appreciation for the role of Chemistry in understanding how the body and medicines work. I love learning and connecting with people — I speak four languages (English, Portuguese, French, and Spanish) — and believe that curiosity and clear communication are key to mastering complex scientific ideas. Alongside my medical studies, I’ve worked as a private Chemistry tutor and as a medical writer and mentor for Klarity Health, where I honed my ability to simplify challenging concepts and explain them in an engaging, relatable way. These experiences have strengthened my teaching and communication skills, helping me make Chemistry both accessible and rewarding for my students. I’m passionate about education and equal access to learning, and I take pride in helping students gain confidence, improve their exam performance, and develop a genuine understanding of Chemistry beyond memorisation.
