About Megan
I bring 18 years of experience in education, serving as both a classroom teacher and instructional coach. I’ve taught Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, 6th, and 7th grades, giving me a deep understanding of how students learn and grow across developmental stages. As an Instructional Coach, I’ve partnered with teachers to implement research-based strategies, accelerate learning, and close achievement gaps. My expertise in data-driven instruction allows me to quickly identify student needs and tailor lessons for maximum impact. I believe every student is capable of success with the right support. My teaching style is student-centered, engaging, and focused on building confidence alongside academic skills. I design lessons that meet students where they are, challenge them to think critically, and encourage them to take ownership of their learning. Over nearly two decades, I’ve seen how personalized, well-structured instruction can transform a student’s academic journey — and it’s my passion to make that happen for every learner I work with.

My lessons are personalized, engaging, and goal-focused. I begin by assessing each student’s current skills to identify strengths and growth areas. From there, I design custom learning plans that combine targeted instruction, guided practice, and interactive activities.
I incorporate research-based strategies from my work as an instructional coach to ensure lessons are effective and aligned with grade-level expectations. For younger learners, I weave in hands-on activities, games, and stories to make learning fun and memorable. For older students, I focus on building independence, critical thinking, and strong study habits.
