About James
I am an experienced and dedicated Mathematics teacher with over seven years of international teaching experience across diverse school environments. I have taught secondary Mathematics, including Cambridge IGCSE, AS and A Level, and have served as a Head of Mathematics. I am passionate about helping students develop confidence, improve their problem-solving skills, and achieve excellent academic results. My teaching style is patient, supportive, professional, and focused on making challenging mathematical concepts easier to understand. I create a positive learning environment where every student is encouraged to ask questions, learn from mistakes, and reach their full potential.

My online Mathematics lessons are interactive, student-centred, and tailored to each learner’s ability and goals. I use clear step-by-step explanations, worked examples, visual methods, past-paper questions, and regular practice to strengthen understanding and problem-solving skills. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and includes concept review, guided practice, independent questions, and feedback. With over seven years of international teaching experience, including experience as a Head of Mathematics, I teach Cambridge Mathematics at secondary, IGCSE, AS and A Level. My lessons are suitable for students seeking stronger foundations, improved grades, examination preparation, or greater confidence in Mathematics.
