About Dorothy
I am passionate about teaching and love being able to help students understand a topic better. My favorite subjects in school were Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. But I do know what it's like to feel lost in class and it's important for me that everyone feels included in the learning. Outside of school, I enjoy cooking, yoga, and reading.

I really believe in the importance of variety, when it comes to teaching. I use lots of different resources to effectively teach/revise a topic. I love videos and video solutions and will often recommend these as a homework exercise after a grind. I believe notes are fundamental to doing well in the Leaving Cert. I also think it's really important to go at your own pace. I will tailor the grinds completely to you so we can work as effectively as possible for the hour long session!
