About Emily
I am committed to creating a positive learning environment where students are inspired to learn independently and to take risks. Whilst there is a strong focus on exam technique I will ensure that students understand the relevance of what they are learning in the real world. I have had a wealth of experience within London state secondary schools where I have worked with students of all abilities and motivations and able to make positive progress with all.

Techniques and teaching methodology:
A focus on exam technique, linking different key scientific concepts to ensure deeper understanding, passionate about creating a positive learning environment where students are empowered to take risks. Learning will be broken into manageable chunks, with regular learning checks guided by gaps in the students knowledge.
Typical lesson length: 45 -60 minutes.
Qualifications and experience:
Experienced Secondary School Teacher in London.
Experienced in offering specialised extra curricular exam preparation lessons, for both high and low achieving students.
I have a PGCE and a BSc in Biology.
Students:
Secondary school pupils of all abilities including both KS3 and 4.
