About Shruti
I am a Civil Engineering major from NJIT and have a passion for working with students and helping as many people as possible.
I have always loved math and I have been tutoring it since I was 15 years old at my public library. Now, as a 20 year old college student, I work as a tutor for Varsity Tutors, a Calculus Teaching Assistant, and a Resident Assistant.
Due to my experience working with students and peers, I am confident that I can provide tutoring using personalized methods and patience!

My experience working with kids as young as elementary school students to as old as college seniors has prepared me to work with many different types of students in many different math levels. It has helped me become flexible and down-to-earth. I am able to adjust to many different learning styles which allows me to better teach all my students with personalized strategies and structured plans catered to their needs.
As an NJIT Student and Teaching Assistant, I know what it's like to be a student and I also understand what it takes to teach one. With my expertise in math and my abilities as a tutor, I know I have what it takes to propel students to succeed and excel.
