About Lilia
I am a passionate Mathematics tutor with more than 3 years of experience supporting students in achieving academic success. I hold a BSc in Mathematics with Actuarial Science, which has equipped me with a strong background in analytical reasoning. I enjoy helping students overcome challenges and gain confidence. Teaching, for me, is about making complex ideas simple.
My main area of expertise is discrete mathematics, a subject that underpins many areas of computer science. I teach core topics such as logic, set theory, graph theory, and combinatorics. These subjects are essential for understanding computational thinking. I present them in a clear, structured, and engaging manner.
I have guided many computer science students in understanding how mathematics applies to algorithms and data structures. My focus is on helping students see the connections between theory and practice. I encourage critical thinking and independent problem-solving. Learning becomes more meaningful when students truly understand the concepts.
I believe that discrete mathematics should feel accessible, not overwhelming. With the right guidance, students can master even the most challenging topics. My teaching method is designed to make mathematics easy to understand and apply. I focus on key areas like algebra, discrete math, and numerical reasoning.
