About Grace
I hold a Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematics and have spent eleven years teaching mathematics to students of varying abilities and interests. My own passion for maths comes from its ability to explain patterns and systems in the world. Teaching allows me to channel this enthusiasm while fostering analytical and problem-solving skills in my learners. I provide personalised instruction tailored to individual learning styles, combining clarity, encouragement, and structured guidance. I focus on cultivating independent thought, perseverance, and confidence, ensuring students not only succeed in mathematics but also develop resilience and logical thinking applicable across disciplines. Mathematics is the language of structure, logic, and pattern, and my lessons focus on developing comprehension, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Each session is designed to build both skill and intellectual confidence. Beginners focus on arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and foundational problem-solving strategies. Intermediate learners advance into functions, equations, trigonometry, probability, and graphical reasoning. Advanced students tackle calculus, statistics, mathematical modelling, and complex problem-solving applications. I use visual aids, real-life scenarios, and interactive exercises to reinforce understanding and promote intellectual independence. Every topic is carefully structured to ensure mastery and long-term retention. Through sustained practice, learners develop analytical clarity, logical thinking, and problem-solving resilience. Mathematics becomes a tool for approaching challenges, structuring thought, and building confidence.
