Hello, and welcome!
I am a dedicated Mathematics tutor with a passion for helping students understand and enjoy Mathematics. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed when given the right guidance, encouragement, and learning environment. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to build their confidence and develop strong problem-solving skills that will benefit them throughout their academic journey.
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Statistics from the University of Ibadan and also a Diploma in Information Technology from the University of Lagos (UNILAG). With my jovial approach to teaching, I have experience teaching and mentoring students at different educational levels. My background in both education and technology enables me to present mathematical concepts in a clear, structured, and engaging manner.
I am patient, professional, and committed to the success of every student I teach. Whether you are preparing for school examinations, WAEC, NECO, JAMB, or simply looking to strengthen your understanding of Mathematics, I will provide personalized lessons tailored to your learning needs and goals.
My teaching approach focuses on simplifying complex topics, encouraging active participation, and providing plenty of guided practice to ensure lasting understanding. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their confidence.

My Approach to Tutoring
I believe that every student can excel in Mathematics when concepts are explained in a clear, simple, and practical way. My teaching style is student-centered, interactive, and focused on building confidence as well as academic excellence. I encourage students to ask questions freely and I tailor my lessons to match each student's learning pace and ability.
Teaching Techniques and Methodology
My lessons typically follow a structured approach:
Assess the student's current understanding of the topic.
Explain concepts step-by-step using simple language and practical examples.
Work through examples together to reinforce understanding.
Give guided practice exercises and past examination questions.
Provide feedback and correction to strengthen weak areas.
Regularly review previous topics to ensure long-term retention.
For examination classes, I focus on problem-solving strategies, time management, and intensive practice using WAEC, NECO, JAMB, and other relevant past questions.
Typical Length of a Lesson
A standard lesson lasts 60 minutes, although longer sessions of 90–120 minutes can be arranged for examination preparation, revision classes, or intensive coaching.
Qualifications and Experience
I hold a BSc in Statistics from the University of Ibadan and also a Diploma in Information Technology from the University of Lagos (UNILAG) and have experience teaching Mathematics and related subjects. My background in statistics and more of Information Technology enables me to integrate technology into learning, making lessons more engaging and effective. I have experience helping students improve their understanding of Mathematics, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and prepare for major examinations.
