The approach to tutoring that I follow emphasises on creating a student-centered learning environment. I start by understanding the student's current level of knowledge and learning style, as well as their goals and needs. I then develop a customised lesson plan that addresses their specific challenges and helps them achieve their goals in a way that is engaging and effective.
In each tutoring session, typically an hour long, I aim to make the material as clear and accessible as possible by using examples, analogies, and other teaching aids. I encourage the student to actively participate in the learning process by asking questions, providing feedback, and working through problems together.
My ultimate goal is to empower my students to feel confident in their ability to apply their knowledge to new situations.
