About Siya

I have over 3 years of experience teaching mathematics and hold an MPhil in Mathematics. My approach goes beyond just solving problems — I focus on reducing math anxiety and building confidence in learners of all ages. I understand how overwhelming math can feel, especially for those who have struggled before. That’s why I use growth mindset techniques to help students see mistakes as opportunities to learn and grow. Each student learns at their own pace, so I personalize lessons to fit their needs and comfort levels. Positive reinforcement is a big part of my teaching style, creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel safe to ask questions and take risks. I believe that with the right guidance, anyone can develop a strong understanding of math. I have worked with many students who once felt lost or frustrated, and together we transformed their mindset and skills. About the lesson

My teaching approach in maths focuses on building a strong foundation through clear explanations and practical exercises. I cover topics like data interpretation, graphing techniques, statistical analysis, and understanding numerical trends, which are essential for research and real-world applications. I believe in deep textual analysis combined with structured data exercises to help students grasp concepts fully.

For learners who find math challenging, I provide extra support by breaking down problems into simple, manageable steps. I encourage critical thinking and guide students to develop their own problem-solving strategies. With a focus on quantitative reasoning, I push students to achieve academic excellence by practicing regularly and understanding the logic behind each method.

Together, we will work on refining data analysis skills, making complex topics easier to understand. I support every student’s progress and tailor lessons to fit individual needs. My goal is to build confidence and competence so that students can excel not just in exams but also in practical applications. Patience and consistent practice are key parts of my method. I make sure students feel motivated and prepared for any challenge.
