About Joanna Renata
I’m Renata, a math tutor and emotional coach passionate about helping students who struggle emotionally with learning. I’ve taught math in Ireland for two years and previously volunteered in a special-needs school and a sociotherapy center in Poland. Working with children and teenagers who find school stressful has taught me that learning starts with feeling safe and understood. That’s why my lessons are calm, personalized, and designed to rebuild confidence step by step. Seeing a student go from “I can’t do this” to “I actually get it!” is the most rewarding part of my work.

My lessons are designed for students who feel anxious or frustrated about maths. I create a calm, encouraging space where they can slow down, ask questions freely, and start to feel more confident step by step.
Each session is structured into three focused mini-blocks with short breaks in between — 3×20 minutes for primary students and 3×25 minutes for secondary level. This format helps maintain attention and reduces stress, allowing students to truly understand the topic instead of rushing through it.
My goal is simple: to help each learner rebuild trust in their own abilities and rediscover that maths can make sense — and even feel rewarding.
