About Virginia
Due to my youthful enthusiasm, I build connections with my students, and I unlock their potential by motivating them. I meet students at their level, so that they see their successes, and then work our way up. I have tutored virtually, and still managed to build strong connections through the screen.

I am a 5th grade education teacher with 5 years of teaching experience in the NYC public school system. I have worked in one of the most high performing districts in the city, therefore I have high expectations for my students. In addition, I have worked for three years in an ICT setting with students who have various learning disabilities. I allow a range of students to thrive, those who are behind their grade level, as well as those who are enriched and need to pushed further.
I have tutored students in grades 3-8, but the majority of my students are in grades 4-7. Students have passed entrance exams to top junior high and high schools under my guidance.
I provide differentiation for all learners.
