About Mark
I've been playing guitar for about 15 years and have taught guitar on and off for about 6 years. I also have my B.S. in Mathematics. I've taught several students and they all have seemed to excel, some faster than others. The rate at which a student progresses is usually dependent on how much the student is willing to practice and excel, because the teacher can show you everything he knows, but that's not going to do any good unless the student practices and develops the skill. Playing music is something I'm very passionate about and I love sharing the passion with aspiring musicians. I can play guitar, bass, ukulele, piano, drums, and many other instruments, however, guitar is my primary instrument.

I like to teach theory, music reading, songs, techniques, and methods of improvisation. I teach each class based on the skill level of the student. I can also teach multiple genres such as rock, pop, classical, flamenco, acoustic, etc.
