About Camila

Oi! I’m Camila, a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker who loves sharing my language and culture with people from all over the world. I was born and raised in Brazil, and I know how exciting (and sometimes tricky!) learning a new language can be — so my goal is to make the process fun, relaxed and motivating. I’m a patient and friendly teacher who enjoys creating a comfortable space where you can practise, make mistakes, and really enjoy learning. Every student is different, so I always adapt my lessons to your pace and interests — whether you want to focus on conversation, grammar, travel phrases or just learning more about Brazilian life. I have a degree in Languages and 10+ years of experience teaching Portuguese online. I use real-life materials like music, videos and short texts to keep lessons interesting and practical. If you’re looking for someone who’s approachable, encouraging and genuinely passionate about helping you learn, I’d love to be your Portuguese tutor. About the lesson

As a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker, I offer engaging and personalised lessons designed to help you build confidence and fluency in real-life situations. My approach is communicative and student-centred — I focus on helping you use Portuguese naturally, whether for travel, study, work, or conversation. Each lesson is carefully tailored to your goals and level. We’ll work on all key skills — speaking, listening, reading and writing — while also exploring Brazilian culture, pronunciation, and everyday expressions. I make use of authentic materials such as songs, videos and articles to keep lessons lively and relevant. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged if preferred. I teach students of all levels and ages, from complete beginners to advanced learners, and adapt my teaching style to suit your learning pace. I hold a degree in Languages and Literature (Brazilian Portuguese & Spanish), and a degree in Social Sciences. I've just finished my MA in Social Anthropology, too! I have several years of experience teaching Portuguese both online and in person. My aim is to create a friendly, motivating environment where you feel comfortable making progress and enjoying the learning journey.
