About Divine
I am a patient, dedicated, and approachable tutor who enjoys helping students discover their potential in Mathematics and Algebra. I believe every child can improve with the right guidance, encouragement, and teaching approach.
My teaching experience includes teaching primary school pupils and providing personalized online lessons. I understand that students learn at different speeds, so I create a supportive environment where learners feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and trying again without fear of judgment.
I take pride in breaking down challenging mathematical concepts into simple, manageable steps and helping students develop independent thinking and problem-solving skills. I focus not only on helping students get the correct answers but also on understanding the reasoning behind them.
As a tutor, I am committed to being prepared, punctual, respectful, and attentive to each student's progress. My goal is to help learners build a strong mathematical foundation, improve their academic performance, and develop lasting confidence in their abilities.

My teaching approach focuses on helping students understand Mathematics and Algebra rather than simply memorising formulas. I use clear explanations, step-by-step examples, interactive activities, real-life problems, and guided practice to make difficult concepts easier to understand.
Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes and is tailored to the student's age, class level, learning pace, and individual needs. I begin by assessing what the student already understands, identify areas that need improvement, and build their knowledge gradually through practical examples and regular exercises.
I have experience teaching primary school pupils and providing online lessons in Mathematics and beginner coding. My lessons encourage students to ask questions, explain their reasoning, solve problems independently, and develop confidence in their abilities.
I welcome primary and junior secondary school students who want to strengthen their mathematical foundations, improve their problem-solving skills, understand Algebra, prepare for school assessments, or catch up on challenging topics. My goal is to make Mathematics engaging, understandable, and less intimidating for every learner.
