About Zaid
I'm a First Class MEng graduate in Computer Science and Mathematics from University College London — one of the UK's leading universities — with seven years of experience tutoring A-Level Maths, Further Maths and Physics online.
Alongside my academic achievements, I've gained professional experience at some of the UK's most respected organisations, including Amazon and Sky, both of which demand the kind of sharp analytical thinking and problem-solving ability that I bring to every lesson. I also achieved the highest mark in my year for A-Level Computer Science, so I know firsthand what it takes to excel at the very top of the grade boundary.
I've worked with students who came to me achieving A and B grades and left with A*s — and that kind of transformation is genuinely what drives me. There's something deeply satisfying about watching a concept finally click for a student who's been struggling, or seeing someone who lacked confidence walk into their exam knowing they're fully prepared. Teaching isn't just something I do alongside my career — it's something I actively enjoy.
My approach is patient, structured and entirely tailored to the individual. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all tutoring. My strong academic grounding means I can explain difficult concepts in several different ways until we find the one that works for you, and my professional background means I understand the real-world value of getting these subjects right.

I offer one-to-one online tutoring in Maths, Further Maths and Physics up to A-Level, tailored entirely to each student's needs and learning style.
As a First Class MEng graduate in Computer Science and Mathematics from UCL, I combine strong academic knowledge with seven years of hands-on tutoring experience. I've helped students who were achieving A and B grades break through to A* — so whether you're looking to consolidate the fundamentals or push for top marks, I know what it takes to get there.
How lessons work
Each session runs for one hour. I begin by covering the relevant theory clearly and concisely before moving into targeted practice problems, ensuring students not only understand the material but can apply it confidently under exam conditions. No two students are the same, so every lesson is planned around the individual — their current level, their weak spots, and their goals.
Who I teach
My lessons are best suited to A-Level and GCSE students (typically ages 16–18) studying Maths, Further Maths or Computer Science, particularly those aiming for top grades at competitive universities. I'm equally happy working with students who are struggling and those who simply want to get ahead.
