About Nina
I want to see students succeed, and I know that sometimes just a little bit of fear can block their path to greater opportunities--all it takes is a boost of confidence and a patient teacher who can explain the material in a way they understand! I would love to be that teacher for you or your student! I am patient, encouraging, and love to try to understand how a student thinks to come up with the best explanations that will make sense to them. My schedule is highly flexible, and I’m confident I can help you or your student succeed. Send me a message if you (or your student) want to do some learning! I would love to help. :)

Hi, everyone!! I am a qualified math tutor looking for some remote (or northern Arkansas) tutoring work for the summer. I just graduated with my Masters of Education degree (with a math concentration) and have tutored math in person and online for over 6 years, in anything from basic 2nd grade math up to advanced college courses like Number Theory & Abstract Algebra.
I excel at breaking down complex concepts into simple ideas and I have such a passion for seeing that lightbulb moment for students at any age and in any subject. I like to teach for a deep understanding of math concepts and present topics in a unique way, developing a broader view of math as a tool--as well as show the relevancy of the topic to the student's life and interests. More importantly, I am super patient and ALWAYS encouraging.
