About Dodger
Since my theatre career began 19 years ago, I have been involved in over 25 productions both on- and back- stage, taught children's theatre classes to all ages, as well as assisted with children's theatre summer camps. I take pride in my ability to make all children feel equally comfortable onstage and off, especially when it comes to children with special needs. I provide equitable guidance based on the needs of individual students, and do my best to make sure everyone feels prepared and supported.
While the majority of my classes have been in children's theatre, I also have experience in teen and college monologue coaching. My unique viewpoint makes me a great asset in the realm of thoughtful feedback. Whether you have a big audition coming up, are looking to wow a tough acting professor, or are just trying to feel more comfortable with public speaking or performance, you have come to the right place.

Trained in a Stanislovsky-based program, I leaned all the ways that acting can go wrong. I now teach in an Adler style, specializing in teen monologue coaching and young children's productions.
I believe that my students are strong and capable of making their own acting choices. A typical lesson begins with asking students what they believe to be true, and ends with a discussion about what we've discovered through the course of the lesson. (Did your opinion change? Was your hypothesis correct?) I want students to feel empowered at the end of every class, and return to their day excited to use their new skills.
I believe that theatre education provides important life skills like problem solving, teamwork, and empathy. Theatre education creates thoughtful, well rounded adults, and I am grateful for the ability to contribute in this way.
