About Carisa
Hi, I'm Carisa! A full-time PhD student pursuing the field of biology (specifically, virology), with a 3.7 GPA. I have great passion for the subject of biology, as it is mainly what I spend most of my time on everyday, whether it is in my research, or conducting my lab experiments.
I would love to share my knowledge in biology with high schoolers, by guiding you to develop and grow in your understanding as well as to gradually learn to enjoy this subject overall!

Weekly 1.5 hour long classes, where I will guide you one-on-one on understanding the syllabus and going through exam-based questions.
Any year of students taking IGCSE or SPM are welcome. I provide a 1 hour trial class on a topic of YOUR choice, so from there, you can decide if you would like to join my classes.
Lessons will be in sync with your schools' biology schedule (or faster, depending on the students' level), and we will go through exam-based questions after every topic. It is a one to one class, so it will be an interactive class, where I will prompt you with questions and make sure you understand before progressing further.
I currently tutor university students in biological sciences, and a few high school IGCSE students, so I have good experience in this.
