About Megan
I hold a PhD in Plant Biology and Ecology from the University of Texas and have worked as a conservation botanist and conservation educator for several years. I am also an avid conservation filmmaker and have developed my science communication skills to be able to share complex scientific subjects with any audience. I current teach conservation biology courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels and have extensive experience working with adult learners.

My work has taken me from collecting bees in the rainforests of Panama to filming wildlife in Montana. I am incredibly passionate about helping people understand nature and bring lots of real world experience engaging with these topics into each of my lessons. In my lessons we will have fun while covering a lot of ground. I develop techniques and help you forge connections so you are not simply memorizing information, but are understanding it on a deep level and are ready for application.
