About Abhipsa
My name is Abhipsa (you can call me Abby), and I bring an industry-focused, practical approach to tutoring. As a professional software engineer with experience across investment banking technology, fintech, and global product companies — including J.P. Morgan, Microsoft, and currently Expedia — I help students understand not only exam concepts but also how these skills are applied in real-world technology careers.
My lessons are structured, clear, and results-driven, breaking complex ideas into simple, logical steps supported by guided practice and exam-style problem solving. While new to formal private tutoring, I have extensive mentoring experience, supporting junior engineers in the workplace and volunteering with Women Who Code, where I help aspiring developers build strong programming foundations and confidence.
I teach GCSE and A-Level Maths and Computer Science, as well as beginner to intermediate programming, with lessons typically lasting 60 minutes and tailored to each student’s level and goals. My sessions are suitable for secondary school students, university beginners, and adults transitioning into tech, with a strong emphasis on conceptual understanding, confidence building, and exam technique.

My name is Abhipsa (you can call me Abby). My teaching approach is structured, patient, and practical. While I’m new to formal tutoring, I’ve volunteered with Women Who Code, mentored junior developers at work, and regularly supported fellow engineers with coding and problem-solving.
