About Aadesh
Aadesh is an experienced pharmacist and lecturer in clinical and professional pharmacy practice at University of Kent (Medway School of Pharmacy). He has a first class master’s degree in Pharmacy from University of East Anglia and a postgraduate degree in Clinical Pharmacy Practice from University of Keele. Aadesh is completing his PhD in Neuropsychology from Canterbury Christ Church University (School of Psychology and Life Sciences) and University of Kent (Kent and Medway Medical School). With over ten years of clinical, teaching and research experience, his expertise lies in clinical and professional pharmacy practice subjects including pharmacy law, pharmaceutical calculations, therapeutics, pharmacology and clinical assessments. As a pharmacist, he has undertaken multiple clinical rotations in primary and secondary care including geriatric and paediatric medicine, cardiovascular and respiratory departments and accident and emergency services. As a lecturer and tutor, he has taught students from secondary school level up to postgraduate level in core topics such as biology, chemistry and mathematics, at all levels, along with extended subjects such as cardiovascular, respiratory and endocrine medicine. Aadesh has also supervised master's degree student projects, marked theses and published in journals. In addition to being an expert in his subject, he has experience in university admissions and supporting students with undergraduate and postgraduate university applications. Therefore, he can provide tutoring for specific areas of the admissions process, including personal statements, interviews and admissions tests.

As a lecturer and tutor, I have taught students from secondary school level up to postgraduate level. I have designed, delivered and assessed core topics such as biology, chemistry and mathematics, at all levels, along with extended subjects such as cardiovascular, respiratory and endocrine medicine. Specific areas include the therapeutics and pharmacology of the cardiovascular system (e.g. ACS, CVD and CVA), respiratory system (e.g. Asthma and COPD) and endocrine system (e.g. Thyroid Disorders and Diabetes). I have delivered lectures, tutorials and webinars on a wide range of pharmacy and biomedical topics at undergraduate and postgraduate level. I have lead modules and assessments for over 200 students on full-time basis in professional practice, prescribing, patient safety and quality competencies. I have designed, delivered and assessed university level assessments in subjects such as pharmacy law, pharmaceutical calculations, therapeutics, pharmacology and specific clinical assessments (e.g. OSCEs). I have also supervised master's degree student projects, marked theses and published in journals. I have experience in university admissions and supporting students with undergraduate and postgraduate university applications. Therefore, I can provide tutoring for specific areas of the admissions process, including personal statements, interviews and admissions tests.
