About Harry

I've had lots of ups and downs in the industry and really understand what it's like to build a career from scratch and also understand what it's like to lose sight of your instincts and confidence. I've gradually built up a real understanding of what it is casting directors look for in an actor and self-tape, (hint; it's always different! But we can always be better!) I've been a series regular in shows The Crown and The Last Kingdom, and I've had guest roles in Andor, Ransom, Eastenders and most recently in The Last Supper due for release in 2025.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is based on Stella Adler's teachings of preparation and imagination. I like to mix this in with some very practical insights of what I think casting directors like to look for in a self-tape, just from my own experience. Ideally, you will leave a lesson with me feeling much more confident and trusting your instincts a little bit more. A typical lesson can last anywhere between 30 minutes and an hour, normally we work through a particular self-tape you have just sent through or work through an old one and see if we can identify places where you could improve for the next time!
