About Shantanna
I have recently returned from China, after almost four years. Whilst there, I was working as a teacher (drama, EFL, English) as well as a private tutor, and workshop/camp leader. I have taught a wide range of students ranging from 1.5 years to adults, through numerous subjects and for an array of examinations including A levels, TESOL, IELTS and school entrance examinationsto name a few.
I am passionate about teaching, particularly those looking to learn English as an additional language. This stems from my own experiences, as a member of a family with several nationalities. I understand how it feels to be learning a language in order to better communicate with those around me, and love learning how to communicate in new languages. My experiences allow me to be more compassionate and patient as a language teacher, and I believe that creates a more productive and successful learning environment for my students.

Classes will be tailored to your specific needs, with an emphasis on speaking in order to encourage natural language acquisition. I prefer my classes to be informal, and student lead whilst utilising games and activities to create authentic scenarios for real life application of learned materials.
