About Donna

I am a former professional singer and now a professional songwriter who loves giving the gift of music to other people. I began playing the guitar at the age of 13 and had Buffalo's first all female country band in the 1980's. Now I focus my time on writing music and teaching basic guitar. I teach the Mel Bay Guitar method #1. With this book you will not only learn to read music but you will also learn all the basic chords. A lot of what I teach is from my own lifes experiences and not necessarily from the book. Many of my students express the desire to learn to write music also, which I am more than happy to teach. There is no time fram to take this course. It takes about 1 year to complete, but some students take longer than others. My course is custom designed to the students needs.

(concealed information)

(concealed information)

I was a very shy, introverted girl. Music changed my life by opening doors I never could have imagined. Now it is my turn to pay this forward by helping another person achieve this same passion.

7 years of private guitar lessons, learing all 7 Mel Bay Guitar Method books.

20 years of performing with various bands.

40+ years of writing music.

About the lesson

It is very important to me that my new student feel comfortable and at ease by creating a fun and exciting atmosphere where music can be life changing.
