About Jennifer
I have a background in classical theater and my degree is in acting (BFA from the California Institute of the Arts). I lived in NYC where I produced and wrote. I have written for fringe festivals and not for profit theater companies. My background includes teaching children, teenagers and coached adults in accents for film and television as well as monologue coaching for auditions. I am a member of Actor's Equity, SAG, and AFTRA. My goal is to teach authenticity, honesty in the work and to keep language truthful with a clear meaning. I can also help you learn many regional dialects.
Trained at the California Institute of the Arts (BFA)
Carnegie Melon University
HB Studios (NYC with Austin Pendleton)
Annalee Jefferies
Michael Shurtleff
Atlantic Theater Co, William H Macy, Felicity Huffman and David Mamet (Vermont)

With Covid, it is better to begin online. I would want to have a clear understanding of the research you have done with the character and to go through some of the Guideposts to auditioning and rehearsing.
Then I will work wih you on how to present yourself in an audition, find your light as well as work on other skills such as confidence, voice, diction, etc.
