Harvey is always so supportive and complimentary. He listens for what I've done well and points it out, then shows me ways to approach the passages that are giving me difficulty. He knows what I'm interested in and stretches my comfort zone without making it too challenging or frustrating. I look forward to my lessons!

My daughter had a previous negative experience with theater and had begun to doubt her singing ability. After just a few lessons with Mr. Chiles, my daughter has regained her confidence and loves singing again. Even more importantly, Mr. Chiles has encouraged her to audition for new roles. He's communicative, positive, and simply amazing at growing students' love of the arts! He approaches lessons for each student from a "big picture" view. Lessons with Mr. Chiles began with voice instruction, but have branched into embracing character pieces while singing, practicing lines, or anything else that my daughter may need to work on before an audition. I can't say enough good things about Mr. Chiles.

This is an excellent academy and Harvey Chiles is a wonderful teacher with extensive musical knowledge and abilities. At our request, he developed music lessons to suit my daughter's interest and abilities. She has learned everything from the basics of reading music, playing piano to performing and singing. Excellent academy - highly recommend!

Harvey is a gifted singer and musician. He has a unique way of connecting with each of his students. He gets to know them individually and is encouraging and supportive after they have moved on. He is a dignified and Christian man of high integrity.
