About Sidney
I am trained primarily in the Meisner technique and Stanislavsky technique, respectively. However, I find the tools that have served me the most over the years were those I picked up from the fantastic actors and actresses around me. What I will teach you will go beyond the basic skills of character study or script analysis. What I will teach you is how to be present, how to be a story teller, and equally important- how to go into any audition setting with the skills and confidence to book "the job".
The thing I most enjoy about the work I do is the "breakthrough" moment. The minute it "clicks" for an actor or actress. When they find themselves in the very characters they are bringing to life, whether a villain or protagonist. We are all moved by the world around us, and I enjoy being inspired by my students most of all. We are all learning every day.
