About Taylor
I love everything about acting. Nothing makes me happier than sharing my passion with eager young students who want to be the best they can be. I've worked as a professional and award winning actress on stage and in film for the past seven years. I am consistently in class myself so that I can grow and learn. I have worked as a teaching artist for the past five years. I have taught acting and dance to students ages 3 through 10. I specialize in movement, improv, and on-camera work. I love working on zoom and have found it offers many advantages. I look forward to tapping into each student's spark!
I have a Minor in Theare from Lehigh University.
I have studied acting for three consecutive years with well known instructor Terry Schreiber at the T. Schreiber Studio in New York.
I have studied scene study with Lee Brock at The Barrow Group in New York.
I have studied Shakespeare and Restoration Comedy with John Basil at the American Globe Theatre in New York.
I have studied Meisner with Louise Lasser.
I have studied On-Camera Acting with Crista Flanagan in Los Angeles.
I have studied Comedy, Imrpov, Sketch with Crista Flanagan in Los Angeles.
I have taught various acting and dance classes with Mile Square Theatre in Hoboken, NJ. I have also taught in various public schools in Hoboken, NJ.

About the lesson

I first meet with them over Zoom and we discuss their previous experience. We have a "getting to know you" process. I love to hear what inspires each student and what they hope to accomplish. I get a sense of who they are as a human and as an artist. Next, I will pick out some material that I feel will best suit them. I will primarily work from plays but we can explore film scripts as well. We will work on monologues and scenes. If there is an audition coming up, we will hone in on that. I will help them deal with nerves and anxiety. We will work through exercises of various techniques and warm-ups. I am always learning as an actress and I hope to bring what I learn in my training to the table as well.
