About Vidhi
Hello, I am currently a senior at Rutgers University-New Brunswick majoring in Pre-Dental Studies and Exercise Science, with a minor in Nutrition. I am a pre-dental student and will be starting dental school soon! In my free time, I enjoy dancing, drawing, painting, and working out. I also enjoy cooking and spending time with my friends and family.
My experiences in teaching involve Kumon (as mentioned previously), being a part of NHS (National Honors Society) in high school, as well as tutoring children through PilotMe at Rutgers University. Outside of textbook education, I have experience teaching swimming at the YMCA and being an assistant coach for recreational soccer. I really enjoy working with people of all ages, skills and talents!

Through my education in high school and college, I have experienced and learned a wide range of subjects, from the biological sciences to calculus and statistics, as well as expository writing. I have experience in teaching elementary mathematics, science, and english. I also have experience teaching anatomy and physiology, and basic algebra. I have had the opportunity to get elementary subject teaching experience from Kumon, and experience teaching the sciences while becoming a teaching assistant for anatomy and physiology. I believe that through these opportunities to interact with students and play the role of a guide and an advisor, I have adopted qualities of patience, determination, and adaptability.
The credentials I possess for my background knowledge are resembled by test scores and stats, which are: SAT: 1470, DAT: 22, and Undergraduate GPA: 3.7.
Through the time that I have spent writing my college essay in high school and my personal statement for dental school, I have gained insight into the do's and don'ts for both, and am willing to read over/peer edit essays and writing assignments as well.
Overall, I am comfortable with tutoring in numerous subjects, and my hours are flexible upon arrangement. I am willing to step outside my comfort zone into other subjects, as I am a quick learner and would love to help. Please let me know if you have any questions or specific requests!
