About Joseph
I'm a current Chemistry major at the University of North Texas, so you're dealing with an individual who knows his stuff rather than a company.I've done tutoring in many forms, from being hired by the University Chemistry department, the University Learning Center, as well as perconal requests from my students.
My favorite part about tutoring is when my student's lightbulb finally does off on a certain topic/material, and they can finally makes sense of what's in front of them.
I started as a study group leader my sophomore year of college, where I assisted peers in the same courses as me.
I'm a senior Chemistry major at UNT with a 4.0 GPA, I've been doing Chemsitry for years, and I know how to help students understand it and work problems.

Assess what they know, I've seen a lot of students who learn differently, and what helps different styles.
I've worked with students of many backgrounds and levels of skill, I work well with students who are having trouble with the material, as well as students who are confident.
Learn what to look for in a question, and what it's asking you! Chemistry problems are a puzzle, but with very predictable solutions, if you know how to put the pieces together!
Working at the UNT Learning Center, I work with a lot of struggling students in many courses. It's very rewarding to see my students returning on a weekly basis with a noticable change in their ability.
